    Trooper Veterinary Hospital, located just outside of Norristown, PA is currently accepting applications for a full-time (or part-time) Veterinary Technician. CVT or LVT preferred but experienced technicians are encouraged to apply.

    We are a 5 doctor, AAHA certified, Cat friendly certified, small animal practice offering a wide range of services for dogs and cats.

    Our technicians are very hands on, performing a wide range of duties. Their skills include:

    • Detailed patient surgical preparation
    • Multi-level anesthesia monitoring
    • Sharp post-op nursing abilities
    • Excellent phlebotomy skills
    • Full scale canine & feline dentistry including scaling, polishing, charting, x-rays
    • Performing EKG's, BP’s, Laser Therapy & Ultrasound
    • All types of wound care
    • Ability to obtain excellent digital radiographs
    • AAHA level autoclaving and surgical equipment preparation
    • Safe and accurate laboratory sample collection and preparation
    • Confidently and professionally provide education to clients
    • Strong organizational and computer skills (IntraVet software)
    • Excellent team communication skills
    • Willing to multitask, assisting in various departments of our hospital
