    We are looking for extraordinary *Veterinary Technicians* to join our team! We are a collaborative group of veterinary professionals, with specialists in Emergency & Critical Care, Surgery and Internal Medicine.     We are looking for individuals who possess the following qualities and qualifications:

    • Currently licensed or eligible to become licensed as a California Veterinary Technician; VTS credentialed technicians or those interested in pursuing VTS credentials are encouraged to apply.
    • Has successfully completed and graduated from an accredited veterinary technician program OR has "grandfathered in" and successfully challenged the VTNE to obtain credentialed status.
    • Has two years of experience in critical care and/or emergency veterinary medicine.
    • Takes personal responsibility and displays integrity.
    • Displays competency in the general knowledge and nursing skills required to care for critically ill patients.
    • Enjoys a team environment and working collaboratively.
    • Can effectively and professionally communicate with co-workers, supervisors, DVMs, clients, and the public.
    • Maintains professionalism and composure, makes sound decisions, and is able to effectively multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
    • Enjoys teaching, training and learning; has a strong desire to share knowledge with peers and is open to learning from others.
    • Can read, write and speak English; is able to follow verbal and written medical orders and instructions.
    • Solid medical math skills.
    • Is computer literate with the ability to learn new veterinary based software applications.
    • Is able to bend, kneel, stoop, and stand for long periods of time; can individually and frequently lift patients and inventory up to 40 pounds.
